Washington seeks $10M for AI pilot program to boost math and at-home student skills

The State Superintendent of Public Instruction is requesting $10 million from lawmakers to launch an AI program aimed at improving math education. The funding dedicates $8 million to teacher professional development and $2 million to pilot AI tutoring tools for students to practice skills outside of the classroom.
