Pokémon Go app update fixes iOS issues -- update now

Niantic just released version 1.0.1 of Pokémon Go, which addresses several issues for iOS users.

The update fixes stability issues within the app and removes the app’s access to a user’s full Google account. Niantic clarified only basic profile information was being utilized, but that has been made clear in the most recent app update with a note of the "fixed Google account scope."

The update also fixes issues during the log in process, which should cut down on the number of time players are required to log in.

The update also addresses issues frequent crashing for some users.
