A man is dead following a late night crash on Saturday in the Kent area. The driver who hit the victim fled the scene.

We're tracking prolonged and renewed river flooding ahead for Seattle and Western Washington this week. There will be rounds of rain and wind.

Several miles of highway are shut down with no estimated time of reopening as state officials continue to assess flood damage and standing water on roadways across the western Washington region following a severe atmospheric river last week.

River levels will recede today, but another round of river flooding is a possibility during the workweek. Right now, next week's flooding doesn't look as intense as this week's, but there will still be dangers and impacts. 

Authorities are investigating a Friday afternoon shooting near Bellevue's transit center that left an officer and a suspect injured and hospitalized.
