World's largest aircraft ever built for fighting wildfires makes stop at Boeing Field

SEATTLE -- It looks a lot like a regular passenger plane, but it's anything but.

It's a Boeing 747 Global Supertanker, which stopped off at Boeing Field on Wednesday.

While it looks like a cargo plane, it's actually the world's largest aircraft ever built for fighting wildfires. It uses its massive hold for giant water drops.

Owners say the aircraft is just about to be certified, then it will be sent to work during the current wildfire season.
