King County deputy injured in head-on crash, driver in custody for DUI
MONROE, Wash. - A King County Sheriff's deputy was injured in a head-on crash Wednesday night, Washington State Patrol (WSP) Troopers said.
The crash occurred on State Route 2, just east of Monroe.
Troopers said the deputy had a serious hand injury and possible other injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle was taken into custody for DUI.
The investigation is ongoing.
