Seattle Parks not moving forward with playground at Denny Blaine Park
Historically, the park has been used as a nude beach and is a safe space for the LGBTQ community. Hundreds of people packed a public meeting earlier this week to share their concerns with the parks department. More than 9,000 people signed a position to stop the installation of a playground at the park.
