Mariners to leave Root Sports; MLB taking over broadcasts in 2026
The Seattle Mariners have announced that starting with the 2026 season, their games will no longer be broadcast on Root Sports, the regional sports network the team is shuttering. Major League Baseball will take over broadcast and streaming production, though in-market fans will still be able to access games via their cable provider.
