The forgotten team: The short history of the Seattle Pilots
Long before the Mariners, the Seattle Pilots were the city's first Major League Baseball team, playing just a single season in 1969. The team, which played at the now-gone Sick's Stadium, eventually moved to Milwaukee to become the Brewers.
