Burglar suspect leaves a trail of clues for cops
It probably wasn't his best move.
According to the Everett Herald, a burglary suspect was caught red-handed after leaving behind a trail of clues for police.
The newspaper reports that two weeks ago someone broke into Tobacco Express on West Avenue in Arlington and stole some $3,600 worth of cigarettes, loose tobacco, rolling papers, lighters and pipes.
Police say the burglar got access to the store through an exterior drain pipe to the roof, according to the Everett Herald.
Unfortunately, he also left behind a prescription bottle with his name on it along with his driver's license.
The next day, the suspect's mother also called police to report that her son showed up at home with multiple cartons of cigarettes.
