SYDNEY, Australia – It is exactly what every single skydiver, amateur or professional, fears and it not only happened but it was caught on video as it did.
Luckily the skydiver involved survived, but the moments as he fell will likely standout as some of the most terrifying of his life.
In the video the unidentified man can clearly be seen as he jumps from the aircraft.
Seconds later things go terribly wrong when his parachute fails and he begins violently spinning out of control hurdling toward earth.
“The 27-year-old was on a jump from 14,000 feet near Sydney, Australia when the lines on his parachute became tangled,” reads the about section on the YouTube posting by Barcroft TV.
Apparently it was the man’s quick thinking instructor who saved the man’s life by cutting away the tangled lines and deploying a reserve chute just seconds before impact.
