Chief for a Day: Washington law enforcement helps children battling chronic illness

BURIEN, Wash. -- Police departments and sheriff's offices across the Puget Sound area helped brighten the lives of children battling chronic illnesses.

Each of the dozens of agencies that participated named a child honorary chief or sheriff for the day.
