Eastside Racism Community Meeting

REDMOND, Wash. -- The mayors of Bellevue and Redmond came together Wednesday to speak out against racism and prejudice.

The move came after someone dropped of a KKK robe to the Rags to Riches consignment store in Redmond. The store is owned by a black family.

After the speeches, contributions were taken for a "peace arch" -- a collaborative artwork that they say will symbolize the Eastside's effort at harmony.
