Human remains found at Kayak Point

STANWOOD, Wash. -- Investigators say hikers found human remains late Wednesday near Kayak Point.
Deputies were called to the scene near 140th St NW between Marine Drive and Kayak Point in Stanwood.
The age and gender of the remains are not yet known.
The road between Marine Drive and Kayak Point Road will be clsoed for the investigation through Thursday afternoon. Avoid the area if you can.
