FUGITIVE CAPTURED April 9, 2016 --
Convicted rapist Jacob Butts was arrested Saturday in Clackamas County, Oregon.
His charges include Forgery, Criminal in Possession of Forgery Instruments, False Information to Police, Identity Theft and Fugitive from Other State.
He is being held on $52,500 bail.
Butts is a Level III sex offender who was wanted for failure to register in King County. Level 3 means he is highly likely to re-offend.
He was convicted when he was 24-years-old for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl at knife point that he met at a bus stop. Butts was released from prison in 2009. Since then, he has been convicted of illegal drug possession in 2012 and 2014 as well as having weapons.
