CHELAN, Wash. -- Deputies arrested a man in connection with a big wildfire last year in north central Washington.

According to the Chelan County Sheriff's Office, 37-year-old Jeremy Kendall was booked into jail Wednesday and has been charged with arson in the first-degree.

The arrest stems from the Broadview Fire which burned more than 2,900 acres and destroyed 28 buildings/homes and several businesses last summer.
