SEATTLE -- A new shelter for homeless young adults has opened in Seattle's Belltown district.

The 18-bed shelter is for 18- to 24-year-olds, who often shy away from older adult shelters.

The two sponsors -- the Union Gospel Mission and New Horizons Ministries -- already run a drop-in center for teens.
