Orlando Sentinel devotes front page to editorial about victims, community - NOT the gunman

The Orlando newspaper is making a powerful statement by devoting its entire front page to an editorial focusing on the victims and the community, rather than the gunman who killed nearly 50 people at a nightclub early Sunday.

The Monday edition of the Orlando Sentinel showed an editorial on A1 with the headline: "United to heal from the nightclub shooting: Where We Stand."

Notice what is not on the front page? Any mention of the shooter -- his name or photo.

The words are powerful, direct and hopeful focusing on those who were killed and how the community and the nation must come together:
