MARYSVILLE -- Police arrested what they called a "person of interest" in a luring case on unrelated charges Thursday.
Early Wednesday morning, an 11-year-old girl was on patrol near 54th and 132nd Street, walking students to a nearby elementary school, when she was approached by a man in a white-colored vehicle.
She told police he passed by her several times before trying to talk to her. She got away and alerted school officials.
A suspect in the case was arrested Thursday morning on unrelated charges.

While police aren't saying much about the person of interest, they say he might be involved in another attempted luring earlier this month.
A man in a white-colored van or SUV approached two young boys near 149th Place and 45th Avenue Northeast. The terrified boys ran off and alerted their parents.
Marysville police plan to release more information Friday.
