Search continues for missing mother in Edmonds

Q13 News This Morning

EDMONDS, Wash. -- Police are looking for an Edmonds woman who hasn’t been seen since her car was involved in an accident Monday night.

Amy Kennelly, 48, was reported missing by her family Wednesday, a day and a half after her car was found near the 11000 block of Algonquin Road in Woodway at around 11 p.m. Monday.

Police didn’t give much detail, saying only that her car was towed after being involved in a crash, and that the driver couldn’t be found despite an extensive search.

The search resumed in that area Wednesday after Kennelly’s family reported her missing, and police found personal items that might have belonged to her in a nearby backyard.

The search was suspended Wednesday night but is to resume again Thursday morning.
