SEATTLE -- A "highly-intoxictaed" 64-year-old man was arrested this morning for allegedly firing a gun at a couple who interrupted the man and a prostitute engaged in a sex act on the street, the Seattle police said.
An extravagantly worded Seattle Police Department write-up of the incident states police were called to reports of shots fired around 2:15 a.m. Tuesday near the intersection of 4th Avenue South and South Main Street in Seattle.
Once on scene, witnesses told police they had spotted the 64-year-old drunk man who was wearing a tuxedo handing money to a women before the two disappeared into an alcove.
Police said the drunk "Lothario" -- a decidedly not slick actor who has trouble with woman -- grew enraged when the witnesses walked by him engaged in a sex act, causing his paid partner to flee.
The man allegedly opened fire on the two witnesses, police said.
"The increasingly-angry suspect then stormed down the street, informed the couple he was going to kill them and then fired one shot, missing them," police wrote.
The man was arrested by officers and booked into the King County Jail for investigation of assault. He is being held there pending bail.
