State celebrates the 4 millionth person to register to vote in Washington
TACOMA, Wash. -- The state of Washington reached a big milestone Monday -- reaching the four-millionth registered voter mark.
Secretary of State Kim Wyman honored the state's four-millionth registered voter -- 18-year-old Katarina Gruber -- with a plaque, commemorative coin and a super-sized voter registration card.
Wyman said Katarina represents the largest generation -- the millenials. But Wyman said less than 50 percent of millenials voted in the last presidential eleciton -- and only 30 percent in other elections.
