Time to freak out (or celebrate): Snow could be in your future

SEATTLE – First, the good news (or bad news, depending on your perspective): There’s a decent chance it’s going to snow next week.

Now for the bad news (good news?): It’s probably not going to snow a bunch if it does.

Q13 meteorologist Parella Lewis said snow levels could dip as low as 500 feet sometime between Monday night and Tuesday night.

A ridge of high pressure parked near the Gulf of Alaska will help drive a cold front down from Canada.

There is, however, news that’s unequivocally good: Any potential snow should be gone by Thanksgiving, so you don’t have to scuttle your holiday travel plans.
