SEATTLE -- It's Sept. 4.
But for 12s around the Puget Sound, it feels like Christmas.
More than 200 days after the Seahawks were crowned champions of the NFL, here we are again. Thousands of fans will flock downtown to head to a bevy of festivities before the 2014 Season officially kicks off when the Hawks play the Packers tonight at 5:30 p.m.
For those that can't make it down to the gameday festivities, tune in to Q13 FOX News. Live streaming starts on our website at 12 p.m., and we'll have wall to wall coverage beginning at 4 p.m. on Q13 FOX News.
Here is a partial list of just a few things you can do to celebrate Kickoff Day, sure to be one of Seattle's favorite holidays:
Gameday Village - The NFL Gameday Village features an autograph stage with NFL Legends, a Yough Zone geared towards kids and NFL PLAY 60, and an array of exciting interactive opportunities for fans. The Stage will run from 10 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. in Pioneer Square. The Legends on hand today will be:
1:00pm - 2:00pm - Will Shields
1:00pm - 2:00pm - Warren Moon
2:30pm - 3:30pm - Jim Zorn
2:30pm - 3:30pm - Walter Jones
Pregame Concert -- There will be a concert from a stage located in the North Lot at CenturyLink Field with a feature performance by Pharrell Williams. Seattle's own Soundgarden will kickoff the event. Fans do not need tickets to attend the free concert. All stadium gates are scheduled to be open to the public beginning at 2:30 p.m. Fans can enter the concert site at 2nd Avenue and South King Street.
Rally at 12:12 p.m. -- At 12:12 p.m. at Gameday Village, there will be a noise rally to celebrate the 12s. The Mayor, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and former Seahawks player Steve Largent will be on hand to whoop it up.
American Family Insurance Touchdown City -- Unique games, displays, football skill tests, and entertainment await fans inside the 170,000 square foot CenturyLink Field Event Center.
