WA leaders issue new guidance for election workers facing potential federal inspections

With the November general election just two months away, Washington state election officials have taken a new step to protect frontline county staff.  The Office of the Secretary of State, in partnership with the Attorney General’s Office, issued a 17-page guidebook outlining step-by-step protocols for local workers in the event that federal law enforcement or investigators show up at county election facilities.
