- The owner of a Fremont theater on N 36th St is hoping someone recognizes the two suspects who stole a laptop. Surveillance video shows them casing the building and the walk into the West of Lenin Theater on Tuesday, May 10. AJ Epstein was upstairs in a meeting and thought the two men were visiting one of the tenants in the building until the suspect in the red t-shirt stuffed a 2008 UK model Macbook Air in his pants and both walked out.
The suspect in the white shirt could be seen on video opening all the drawers. “The laptops I can replace. These guys, they didn’t look like amateurs so I’m hoping we can catch them so they’ll at least serve some time in jail because no one deserves to be ripped off,” said Epstein. He’s offering a $250.00 reward for any information that leads to an arrest.
