Wildfires in Spokane, WA forces 60,000 people to evacuate

Wildfires burning in Spokane forced 60,000 people to evacuate, while destroying at least 600 homes, businesses and other structures, authorities said Sunday.

Fire officials are upstaffing extra equipment as windy, dry conditions create rapid fire spread risks across the Inland Northwest through the weekend.
