MOUNT VERNON, Wash. - Mount Vernon police are looking for a vehicle that was stolen while a child was still inside.
The vehicle was stolen from a business parking lot in the 1100 block of Riverside Drive around 5:40 p.m. A 12-year-old girl was inside the car.
Police searched the area and were able to recover the child unharmed after the suspect realized she was in the car and dropped her off. The vehicle and suspect are still at large.
Police are looking for a Gray 2006 Mazda 3, four doors, with dark tinted side windows Washington license BHK4765.
The suspect was described as a slender man in his 20’s, with short (possibly shaved) hair, glasses, a dark hoodie, jeans and white tennis shoes.
