A Cinco de Mayo tweet from Donald Trump just about broke social media Thursday afternoon.
“Happy #CincoDeMayo!" the tweet reads. “The best taco bowls are made in Trump Tower Grill. I love Hispanics!”
Within an hour, it had received 25,000 retweets and inspired countless riffs and even some investigations.
Buzzfeed reported that it had called the Trump Tower Grill and learned that it does not, in fact, make a taco bowl. (It turns out that Trump Cafe does though.)
Somebody else dug deep in the picture and found what they claim is a photo of Trump’s bikini-clad ex-wife, Marla Maples, under the taco bowl.
Hillary Clinton, of course, responded.
