Cops: Man refuses to be victim, wrestles gun away from would-be robber

SEATTLE -- Police arrested two would-be robbers after the man they tried to steal from refused to be a victim.

According to Seattle police, a 43-year-old man was waiting for the bus just before 10:00 p.m. Saturday when two young men approached him and asked for a cigarette.

One of the robbery suspects pointed a gun at the man and demanded money, police said.

Nobody was hurt. Officers searched the area and later arrested the 17 and 19-year-old suspects.

The 17-year-old was booked into King County Youth Service Center and the 19-year-old into King County jail.
