Couple sought for allegedly dumping woman`s body

SEATAC, Wash. -- A King County couple is on the run after being charged with unlawful disposal of remains when they allegedly stuffed the body of a woman in a duffel bag and left it on an apartment patio for several days.

Court documents allege Ashley Williams and Will Richardson were with 23-year-old Jenna Ferguson, a mother of two who was visiting from Utah, when she overdosed on drugs. Instead of calling for help, detectives say they tied her body up and stuffed it in a luggage bag. The couple then brought the bag to a friend's apartment patio, where it sat outside for several days.

The person living in the apartment took the bag to the Dumpster when it started to smell. A maintenance worker at the apartment complex then made the horrific discovery and called 911.

King County sheriff's detective Scott Tompkins, said, "It`s disturbing to think that people would treat another human being like that."

Deputies are searching for the couple after they skipped their first court appearance. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information that leads to their arrests. Call 1-800-222-TIPS.
