Man kit and killed by truck
A pedestrian was hit and killed by a driver of a truck in Mill Creek. The driver attempted to drive away but was pulled over by police.
MILL CREEK, Wash. - A man was struck and killed by a vehicle while walking in Mill Creek Tuesday morning, and the driver fled the scene before police arrived.
According to the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office, it happened at 158th Street SW and 35th Avenue SW. The man who was hit died at the scene.
The driver, a 51-year-old man from Lynnwood fled, but was stopped by a deputy on 164th, just a few blocks away. He was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.
