West Valley Highway reopens after deadly crash overnight

TUKWILA, Wash. -- The West Valley Highway reopened Friday morning after a deadly crash involving two pickup trucks overnight.

According to Tukwila police, a pickup truck heading southbound "T-boned" another pickup truck that was turning left onto S. 180th St. from West Valley Highway.

Police said the woman driving the turning truck, a 64-year-old Burien woman, died at the scene.

Investigators believe alcohol was a factor in the crash. They took the driver of the first pickup truck, a 27-year-old Utah man, into custody.

No further details were given.
