Window washer rescue

Q13 FOX News

SEATTLE -- Firefighters conducted a rope rescue to reach window washers stranded on the side of a high-rise building in downtown Seattle.

Crews were called around 1 p.m. to the 1600 block of 7th Ave. The window washers equipment apparently stopped working about 20 floors up.

Firefighters rappelled down the side of the building to reach the stranded workers shortly before 2 p.m. They were both safely down about 40 minutes later.
