Hazen High School in Renton closed Thursday after social media threat

RENTON, Wash. -- Administrators say Hazen High School is closed Thursday as police investigate a threat made on social media the night before.

Staff at the school are still determining whether after-school activities will go on as scheduled.

The school district said the threat came from an Instagram post. A student discovered the threat Wednesday night and sent a screenshot to their parents, who forwarded it to the school.
