Black Lives Matter protesters march on Black Friday

Q13 News

SEATTLE — Hundreds of people are chanting and waving signs as they march in downtown Seattle as part of a Black Lives Matter protest.

It's the third year that demonstrators have filled downtown streets on Black Friday, one of the busiest shopping days of the year.

The Seattle Times says protesters are calling for police accountability, protesting President-elect Donald Trump and showing support for those protesting the Dakota Access oil pipeline.

The protest coincides with the annual tree-lighting event at Westlake Center.
