SEATTLE - A man is in the hospital with serious injuries after a shooting in West Seattle on Monday afternoon.
Seattle Police were called around 2:40 p.m. to several reports of gunshots at 35th Ave SW and S Webster St. Witnesses said suspects in two cars were shooting at each other and speeding away.
When officers arrived, they found bullet damage on nearby buildings, then found an abandoned car down the block. They did not find a victim.
A short time later, Harborview Medical Center called police to inform them they were treating a 30-year-old man with a gunshot wound.
Police have connected the victim to the shooting.
Detectives are still working to determine what led up to the shooting. No suspects have been identified yet.
