Man shot in the head dies in North Seattle

SEATTLE -- Seattle Police are investigating a deadly shooting in North Seattle.

The shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. Thursday at North 102nd Street and Aurora Avenue.

According to the Seattle Fire Department, a 35-year-old man was killed.

Police said the man had been shot in the head. Officers said they did not have a description of a suspect to release.

Anyone with information is asked to call Seattle police.

Aurora Avenue North was briefly closed during the investigation but has since reopened.
