Man uses well-dressed dummy to drive in HOV lane
SEATTLE -- A Washington State Patrol trooper ticketed a man traveling southbound on Interstate 5 Thursday morning after noticing his passenger seemed a tad too stiff.
According to the Seattle P.I., a trooper noticed the man using an dummy to drive in the car pool lane after he thought the passenger's wig looked askew. On further examination, the trooper realized the man's passenger was actually a dummy.
The driver was ticketed $124 for a HOV violation. The driver told the trooper the dummy's name was "Mr. Safety."
