Mayor tells of progress in police review program
SEATTLE -- Seattle Mayor Mike McGinnn held a news conference Thursday to update the public on the progress being made in the Seattle Police Department's 20/20 police reform plan.
The plan, formed with the goal of supporting a "just and effective police force," was announced nearly a year ago.
"We are about halfway through our timeline for reforming the Seattle Police Department in 20 months, and significant progress has been made," McGinn said.
