BOTHELL - A motorcyclist was struck and killed by a driver on Interstate 405 in Bothell late Sunday night, the Washington State Patrol (WSP) reported.
The driver, a 45-year old Everett man, was suspected to have fallen asleep when he struck the motorcyclist, WSP tweeted. The accident occured in the northbound lanes of I - 405 just south of State Route 527 around 10:30 p.m.
The 50-year old motorcyclist was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he was pronounced dead, WSP reported.
The Washington State Patrol continues to investigate this accident.
