MOUNT VERNON, WA - Mount Vernon police are investigating a shooting that hospitalized two people Tuesday morning.
The shooting happened off South Third Street.
According to investigators, two people were taken to the Skagit Valley Hospital.
Their injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
Police said they believe all parties involved in the shooting have been contacted and interviewed.
The suspect was taken into custody.
The investigation remains ongoing.
