Krispy Kreme promises that this is no April Fools' Day joke.
The beloved doughnut purveyor announced on the Krispy Kreme Facebook page that the company is giving away a glazed doughnut to anyone who shows up April 1.
The giveaway appears real, even though it's being advertised as part of a less-believable event – the annual doughnut harvest:
The only catch? The free doughnuts will only be given out at participating Krispy Kreme locations only.
