REDMOND -- A woman is dead and two children have been taken to the hospital after a crash Tuesday morning.

It happened about 4:30 a.m. on SR-202 near Ames Lake Road. A white pickup was traveling east on SR-202, while a black vehicle was either turning around on the roadway or traveling in the westbound lane, troopers said.

The truck and the black vehicle collided, causing a rollover and killing a 19-year-old woman in the black vehicle and injuring two children who were in the vehicle with her.

The two children - a 4-year-old and an infant - are in critical condition, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The driver of the white pick-up truck was taken to the hospital, but he's expected to be OK.
