'Ooh, sexy!' Alaska Airlines kicks off passenger for catcalling

SEATTLE -- Alaska Airlines is standing by a decision to remove a passenger from one of their flights after he catcalled a flight attendant during a safety demonstration.

According to a Facebook post about the incident, which was confirmed by Alaska Airlines, a male passenger called out, "Ooh, sexy!" just before a plane took off from Seattle–Tacoma International Airport.

The woman who wrote the post said the man was in the row behind her and several other women were sitting around them.


In an official statement from Alaska Airlines, the company said they stand behind the actions of their employees.

The account on Facebook from our passenger is accurate. We can confirm that a male passenger was removed from flight 520 on Oct 9 from Seattle to Burbank prior to departure. We stand behind the actions taken by our employees.
