Police investigate armed robbery in Woodinville; items also stolen from car ahead of couple's wedding

K9s and a helicopter were called in to help with the search. A car stolen out of Tukwila was found at the scene after the suspects ran. Two were captured at the scene and a third suspect was arrested about an hour later.

Police are searching for the last of four suspects involved in a convenience store armed robbery in Woodinville.

Around 2:45 a.m. Thursday, a King County sheriff's deputy observed an armed robbery happening at the 7-Eleven on NE 175th St.

K9s and a helicopter were called in to help with the search. A car stolen out of Tukwila was found at the scene after the suspects ran. Two were captured at the scene and a third suspect was arrested about an hour later.

The clerk was the only person in the store at the time and was not injured. No shots were fired.

Police are still searching for the fourth suspect. Detectives are also investigating whether this robbery is connected to another robbery that happened at a 76 station in Redmond.

The owners of the stolen car found at the scene said multiple items were stolen from their car. Not just any items-- but ones meant to celebrate their big day.

Krystal Weast and Nathan Huerstal, from Olympia, are getting married in three days. They were driving to Mount Vernon for their wedding and stayed the night at the Hotel Interurban in Tukwila, where their car was stolen.

The car was later recovered, but their wedding items were not.

Inside were their cake topper, guest list, tablecloths, shoes and all their decor for their tables.

"This is just going to be growth for us, it's going to make us stronger as a couple. Our wedding day will be filled with support from family and friends and love. It'll be a little bittersweet," said Weast.

The pair say they are taking the incident in stride leading up to their big day. They hope the items will be found and returned, but if not, they're glad at least that no one was hurt in the robbery and car theft.
