UPDATE 6PM - Des Moines police have great news. Family members located Christina Stringer in Seattle and she's safe and sound. Police report that Stringer is in good health and a family member is taking her home to be reunited with her mother. Police thank everyone for their assistance.
DES MOINES - Police are looking for a 21 year-old disabled Des Moines woman and need your help. Christina Stringer left her home in the 24500 block of 26 Place South around noon Sunday, police said.
Stringer has significant learning disabilities and is unable to care for herself. She was last seen walking, barefoot, toward Highline College, police said.
There were reports that Stringer may have been dropped off by a southbound Metro bus in the 22400 block of Pacific Highway South, around 4 p.m. Sunday.
Police describe Stringer as an Asian female, five feet, four inches tall, with a thin build and long brown hair. She was last seen wearing a green shirt and red skirt.
