Police seek help finding missing woman, 67, in Pierce County

FIRCREST, Wash. -- Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding a woman who has been missing for several days.

According to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department, Emily Esquiro walked away Monday from the Golden Acres Adult Family Home on Columbia Avenue in Fircrest.

Officials say Esquiro suffers mental health issues and needs several prescription medications.

Esquiro was transferred to the Fircrest facility after years of care at facilities in Seattle. She may not know her way around the Fircrest area.

She is described as Native American, 5' 1" tall, 160 pounds, with graying black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing an orange t-shirt, red pants and blue tennis shoes with bright pink laces.
