WA State Patrol release New Year's Eve driver report
SEATTLE - After New Year's Eve celebrations across King County, troopers got to work monitoring roadways overnight and into New Year's Day. FOX 13 previously reported on how Seattle police ramped up DUI patrols ahead New Year's festivities.
On Saturday, Trooper Rick Johnson posted a summary report for Washington State Troopers. Here is how drivers fared across the county with traffic collisions and infractions:
DUI – 15
Speeding – 254
Seatbelt violations – 6
Aggressive driving – 128
Distracted driving – 28
HOV lane violations – 22
