Straight high schooler shocks gay best friend, asks him to prom in epic way

LAS VEGAS, Nevada --  It may be the promposal of the season.

At the very least it's the promposal of the week.

Anthony Martinez just wanted a guy to ask him to the Desert Oasis High prom.

Anthony tweeted a couple of times on Monday.

Tuesday the openly gay high schooler arrived at school to this.

Anthony's best friend Jacob Lescenski told NewNowNext that he had been planning to go to prom solo because his initial idea for the big night had fallen through.
