On Monday, a photo that showed a "terrible" Elsa cake went viral after it was posted on Reddit and shared thousands of times on Facebook and Twitter. However, the real story behind the cake is heartwarming.

The "terrible" cake was made by a volunteer for Icing Smiles, a charity that creates cakes for sick children.
